AnIntroduction
Welcome, I'm Tara Fox and thanks for checking out my website! Here, you'll find some information about me, my graduate coursework at Michigan State University, and examples of my students' work. I've also included some thoughts on my goals past and future. My Goals Statement Reflection looks at the relationship between my initial graduate goals and my time in the masters program and my Future as a Learner essay reflects on future goals. In addition, glancing through my Synthesis Essay will give you an idea of how my time in the masters program has enhanced my ability to educate. Be sure to also check out the "Resources" tab for links and in-classroom resources that have been a valuable help to me in my educational career.
Below, you'll find one of my favorite verses. Now, I'm not much of a poet myself, but what I've read of Longfellow has always struck me as poignant and moving. A few years ago, I came across this particular stanza, from "The Ladder of St. Augustine." It has since become a verse that I've adapting to my teaching, becoming a welcomed and often needed reminder that though the profession of education can become wearying at times, the impact we as teachers are privileged to have in our classrooms makes it well-worth the effort.
